McKesson’s career page is well laid out an intuitive. After landing on the page you can select to browse current openings or select to view corporate jobs or distribution and call center jobs. While browsing jobs if you find a job you are qualified for you can apply within the requisition or add the job to a job cart to come for future reference.
Veterans Resources
McKesson has a dedicated Military and Veteran webpage within their career section. On this page they have a good military skills translator to help veterans identify jobs matches with in McKesson. They also have articles explaining their commitment to veterans, testimonials from current veteran employees and a letter from the CEO on the benefit of hiring veterans.
Talent Network
When you click on the link to sign in to your profile you can sign up for a career account. Once you set up your account you can search for jobs, apply for jobs by adding them to your job cart and set up alerts for new jobs. The site is based on the Taleo software from Oracle that many large contractors use. When you first sign up you will need to complete a candidate profile which will take about 13-15 minutes. The system allows you to post multiple resume’s and cover letters tailored to each job applied to. While it takes time to tailor your resume and cover letter for each job, I highly recommend you do this. The site also allows you to save jobs for posting to later. I recommend setting up a McKesson Career Profile to aid in your job search.
