Programs like Global Positioning System III (GPS), Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite R-Series (GEOS-R), Mobile User Objective System (MUOS) are but a few of the renowned space programs that reside in this unit. Likewise LM Space Systems partners directly with NASA and has supported every mission to MARS to include the building of 10 spacecraft. I started my DoD Contracting career with Lockheed Martin as a software engineer and worked for them for two years before our division was spun off to form L-3 Technologies. I had a great experience as a Lockheed Martin employee and learned a lot. I could not have asked for a better company to start my career in DoD contracting with.
